Ringing in the New Year

2010 has been filled with many memories; for me some of these were going back to South Dakota to visit my mom for the summer.  Going to church with Brooke.  Playing softball for my seventh year in a row; yes seven years, this spring will be my eighth year and I plan to move up to the B team if they decide to offer it this year again.  What else ... Oh yea, I became a seventh grader, and in that process I met some amazing friends, although I already had some pretty good ones; you know what they say though, you can never have to many good friends.
    My New Year's Resolution is:

1) Read at least 50 books by December 31st 2011
2) I will try (and I mean really try) to post on this blog at least once a week
3) I plan to get more involved in my plans for collage, start creating an idea of what I want to get a degree in, all that kind of stuff
4) Try (really really really try) to run at least a mile a day

Fingers crossed that I meet these goals, and to all of you reading this, if you have a new year's resolution, good luck in obtaining your goals!

New Year, Same Friends

The new year is coming upon us, and fast to.  This past year has truly been one of my most memorable an unforgettable years of my life.  It has been filled with laughter and tears of joy from almost every one I know.  One thing that will always remain with me is the ever lasting bond of friendships created this year.  From a few friends getting stuck in a tree, to seeing people covered in dough or rather flour, but through it all they have remained my friends through it all.  I almost forgot, There was a bit of a blue explosion during electives one time, and luckily it didn't happen to me! : )  All I am saying to all of you that read my blog is that may you have an amazing new year!  Thank you all who contribute on a daily basis to the way my life turns out, as will I continue to the do the same for you!

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

I am still alive, I haven't been posting for awhile because things have been so hectic and busy I just haven't had more than 5 minutes at a time to spare.  So every thing is all right I am fine and doing well; just thought I would let you know just in case you were starting to worry for some reason.   Anyway there isn't much new besides the usual that happens around this time of year, Christmas, presents and gathering with family.  The holidays are always a hard time for me because my mother lives in South Dakota, which is a long way away.  I have the rest of my family to comfort me in this time of sadness, but it soon over come in the sense of joy brought on by the holidays.  In  the time that I am needing a hug the most, my friends are there for me. Always.

Good, no, Great Books
